Blondies

Safia Khan, Staff Writer

Nothing beats a fresh, warm cookie that’s straight out of the oven. But what if a craving strikes for a thicker cookie, almost brownie-like? That’s when this Easy Blondie recipe comes in. Blondies are a cookie and brownie fusion, with the flavor and texture of a cookie but the shape and gooeyness of a brownie. These blondies are super simple and easy to make, and best of all, I was able to whip them up in only 10 minutes with ingredients that I (and most people) had on hand.

Tips:

  • These blondies are best served fresh but if you are saving them for later, wrap the top of your pan tightly with plastic wrap to seal in the freshness and to prevent your blondies from turning hard as a rock.
  • When the blondies have just come out of the oven and are hot, take about ¼ cup of chocolate chips and adorn the top of the blondies with them. Extra chocolate chips are never a bad thing, and it makes your dessert look prettier!
