As Tracy (Zara Jamil) smokes a cigarette there she ponders about her future child that she had recently found out about, with Ben (Christian Rodriguez)

As the two stand there after Ben (Christian Rodriguez) said "could be now you kill your child to keep the world from doing it first" they ponder about their future child and their relationship.

After Ben (Christian Rodriguez) jokingly threatens to leave, Ben comes back into the house as he had got Tracy's (Zara Jamil) attention.

As a play finishes many members of Hinsdale Souths junior varsity football team congregate and talk to each other to better coordinate themselves.

This poster was hung up by university students to criticize the bombing of civilians by the Israeli military

Students hold Palestinian flags while in front of the Foellinger Auditorium in the main quad allowing for many other students to see them.

A banner stating "Free Palestine" hung up by protesters and used as a slogan during the time the protests happened.

Students socialize while in the circle that, standing in that shape to protect their stuff and to organize themselves in an orderly fashion soo that their protest doesn't get broken up by local police.

Students of all ethnicities come together to protest this crisis within the Middle East while many other students spectate.

Some students take a break form protesting by staying in the camp and taking some supplies to refresh and get back out protesting again.

Protesters at the University stand in union and protesting against the university and its funding of the Israeli war in Gaza.

Students stand in a circle to help position themselves in a defense stance in case they were to be broken up by police.

The main quad allows for plenty of space and is the main part of the university allowing them to let everyone see what they are doing and getting their message out in the process.

Many Protesters/Students brought food and water to last them for days at a time to protest the war in Gaza

As you can see many of the Protesters/Students are wearing hard hats to protect themselves in case the police show up and break up the protest.

Principal, Dr. Hardy, states possible solutions and drafts that are already being put in place to the board. Also stating that many of the "missing documents" previously stated by board members, to in fact sent to them months ago.

Board member Asma Akhras remarks on the situation at hand at the time and addressing our principal, Dr. Hardy, with system issues in the board such as "missing documents" and miscommunication within the board.

Interim Superintendent Rebecca Nelson speaks on the issue presented to the board, some being out of school lunch, low attendance classes, and maintenance issues.

Parents talk at the board meeting addressing their concerns regarding the power of the teachers union and the many policies in District 86

With the teachers union at the board meeting many parents from both School's criticize the power the union holds.

We see that many members of the teachers union are a part of the Hinsdale south community. Including many teachers that we see everyday.

The Teachers union and many others stay at the meeting in support of its leader and what he had to say.

Board members Terri Walker, Asma Akhras, and Catherine Greenspon consider many of the suggestions that speakers make

Parents of both Central and South students speak about polices they believe could be improved at both schools.

Members of the administrative board Dr Hardy, Jason Markey, and many others listen to speakers and put their input to the board too.

Co president of the HHSTA John Bowman spoke at the meeting concerning issues with the board and how it needs to have a reorganization of itself. Also stating that the board also needs a new president.

Amari Alexander a junior at south gives a passionate speech about whether or not senior next year and in the future should have the option to have lunch outside of school.

John Strahanoski a sophomore at south gave a very nice speech about how students from south should be able to have outside of school lunch during their senior year mentioning such things as diversifying peoples food selection and supporting local business.

Collin Caldwell a junior and upcoming senior at Hinsdale south spoke strongly about how the privilege to have off campus lunch would benefit many students at south by being able to go home and grab some healthy lunch in a comfortable environment.

Alamir Almannai, a sophomore at Hinsdale South gave a speech supporting the agenda item of allowing seniors to have lunch outside of school emphasizing such things as food quality and even just the choice allows "people to feel free from a compacted environment".

As the meeting starts, members of the board decide to let speakers, many of those being students at South.
