As football fans eagerly count down the days to watch the biggest game of the year, music lovers are just as excited for one of the most anticipated performances of 2025, the Super Bowl halftime show. 

This year hip-hop takes center stage as Kendrick Lamar, one of the most influential and popular rappers of his generation, headlines the event with guest star SZA. With Super Bowl 59 set to be a special night, fans of both artists are on the edge of their seats, ready to witness an unforgettable performance. 

The setlist for the halftime show has not been announced by Lamar, but there is plenty of speculation regarding what songs he might play. Lamar released the album “GNX” a little over a year ago, so he likely will perform some more recent songs off of this album. It is very likely for him to sing “Not Like Us,” which was trending over the summer since it was associated with Drake and the conflicts they were having.

It is also very likely for SZA to perform one of her own singles. It would make the most sense for her to sing “Kill Bill” which is her most popular song. It is from “SOS,” an album she released in 2022. 

There is expected to be around 80,000 people viewing the show in person, and there will be millions of people around the country viewing it online as well. The show will start after the second quarter of the game, which will be around 6 p.m.. 

Seeing both artists perform together with their distinctive styles and music will definitely make sure that this Super Bowl is unforgettable.
