Ms. Yurchak is a Business teacher, and she is also an integral part of school spirit at HSHS. She sponsors BPA and Hornet Havoc, and she is also the JV Assistant Bowling Coach. Ms. Yurchak always knew that she wanted to teach at HSHS, as she loved going here as a student. Yurchak remarks that “I just love the community here [South]. I feel that is something that when I wanted to teach here I loved it so much.” Community is one of the things that brought her back. As HSHS has grown throughout the years as she’s been here, the academics have always been strong and the overall positive environment. Though there has been an influx in clubs and opportunities for students now that she didn’t have in highschool. When asked if she recommends teaching at HSHS she stated that, “If I ever got to teach at central, I would request to go to South”.
