The One Acts-Seascape

During the recent student led “One Acts” many talented and outstanding performances would happen such as the experimental and beautiful performance by the One Act “Bending Time ” ,which was not only directed, but written by Andrea Crisp, and the playful yet touching One Act called “A Tiny Miracle with a Fiberoptic Unicorn”, directed by Camilla Flores and Charlie Thomas. These two performances would show dedication and talent put into them by the actors performing those . While the topics on both of these student directed one acts would be more light hearted in tone with their topics, “Seascape with Sharks and Dancers” , directed by Leah Simpson, focuses on the difficulties of young relationships, with heavy topics being discussed such as abortion, healing as a person , and human connection being discussed throughout the play. The story follows Ben (Christian Rodriguez), a reserved and bright writer and Tracy (Zara Jamil), as they wind through their complex relationship learning more about each other as their stories unfold.
